    Bioinsecticide for biological control of whitefly, aphids, beetles, caterpillars and flies

    NOFLY is formulated with spores of Isaria fumosorosea strain FE 9901. This microorganism is a naturally occurring fungus, which is a geographically widespread and common pathogen of insect pests. NOFLY is used for biological control of whitefly during all life stages of the pest, including eggs, larvae and adults.

    Hosts for Isaria fumosorosea include mealy bugs, beetles, caterpillars and flies. The infection cycle of I. fumosorosea is very fast. First symptoms of infection caused by the fungus become apparent within 24 to 48 hours after the conidia got in contact with the insect. Once I. fumosorosea penetrates the host cuticle, fungal multiplication takes place through formation of hypha bodies in the host hemocoel within 24 hours. They mechanically disrupt the host’s internal organs and initiate tissue necrosis resulting in the loss of function.

    The mycelium is present on the dorsum of the insect body within 48 hours and sporulation occurs within 72 hours, reaching its maximum within 5 to 7 days.

    Isaria fumosorosea is not a plant pathogenic organism and does not produce significant detrimental effects on beneficial insects as bees and bumblebees. The only generated residues from applications of NOFLY are short-lived spores, that should not present any environmental persistence in soil, water or air. These characteristics make this product ideal for Integrated Pest Management Programs.

    FOSFIMAX Ca is a product developed for the prevention and correction of calcium deficiencies and acts as a precursor agent of natural plant defenses. Calcium plays various significant roles in the life cycle of plants. It is a key element in germination and ripening processes. Calcium also improves resistance of vegetal tissues.

    FOSFIMAX Ca contains highly mobile calcium, which makes it an ideal product to counteract damages in plants caused by calcium deficiencies, including necrotic leaf borders, bitter pit in apples, cavity spots in carrots, etc.
