Sergi Ferrero, head of the Biostimulants section of the Business Development Department of Futureco Bioscience, has traveled to Colombia to give a technical conference on the biostimulant Citogrower, in the area of the coffee axis and the savanna of Bogota, focusing on its application in crops of high economic relevance as avocado, table grape, citrus, pineapple, papaya and roses.
The conference was attended by agricultural technicians, consultants and distributors, mostly agricultural engineers. The lectures dealt with the use of Citogrower for the curdling and fattening of fruit in table grapes, avocado and papaya, and to standardize flowering in pineapple.
The lectures dealt with the use of Citogrower for the curdling and fattening of fruit in table grapes, avocado and papaya, and to standardize flowering in pineapple.
At least half of the lectures were devoted exclusively to the use of Citogrower for the cultivation of roses, of which Colombia is the largest exporter in Latin America. For these flowers, the application of Citogrower is suitable for the regrowth of both buds and basals.
The main advantages of this product for the Colombian fields are that it improves the uniformity of flowering, increases the yield in some species such as avocado or citrus and improves the caliber of the fruits in all the fruit trees in general, and in table grapes in particular.
