How to certify that an agricultural input is suitable for organic farming?

Published on

To affirm that a product is suitable for use in ecological, organic or biological farming, it has to be certified. There are several certificates, which mostly vary in the territorial scope in which they apply, regional, national and international. The accrediting entities, depending on the country, can be independent or managed by the public administration. These accreditations require a series of conditions on the production, storage, manufacture, packaging, and distribution of the products that have to be certified as Bio, Ecological or Organic. Although they vary from one country to another, they usually agree that they cannot incorporate genetically modified organisms or elements of chemical synthesis, have to comply with a series of periodic inspections, and have quality controls of the production process.

Much of the Futureco Bioscience portfolio is suitable for organic farming. By currently exporting products to more than 30 countries, the certification of aptitude for organic agriculture must be as international as possible. Among the ecological certifications of our products, which include CAAE, OMRI or CFDA, BCS Öko-Garantie is, without doubt, the one that best meets international standards in the USA, Europe, and Japan. Among the certified products, there are deficiency correctors such as Defender Ca, Defender Active Zn, Defender Active Mg, biostimulants such as Algaliv, Botamisol 80 Pro, Ecormon or Bioradicante; soil conditioners such as Vigoral Mol, and botanical extracts as Bestcure.
