On April 4, Futureco Bioscience hosted 18 branch managers of SumiAgro Europe, a company of the Japanese group Sumitomo Corporation, with whom since January 2017 an agreement was signed that allows Futureco to make a step forward in its growth trajectory as a company that researches, develops, manufactures and markets new generation biostimulants and biopesticides. Some of these products will be distributed by SumiAgro Europe under the brand Seipro.
Thomas Martinez, Director of Futureco Bioscience's Business Development Department, opened the session by introducing the company to attendees. Carolina Fernández, Director of R & D, explained how the R & D Department works, with a focus on applied innovation through planned and effective teamwork, with objectives and a work system that allows a quick launching of new products to the market that are highly competitive. Finally, Rafael Juncosa, CEO of Futureco Bioscience, explained what would be the next growth milestones of the company and what it will mean for the agrobiologicals market, on which all the attendees are clear to do a good job of distribution and sale of products for an agriculture that ensures the maximum productivity with the minimum impact.
The management team visited the laboratories where the R & D of the Spanish agrobiotechnology, the greenhouses and the future headquarters, currently under construction of La Granada where Futureco Bioscience plans to move in early 2018.
The SumiAgro team members returned to their countries satisfied and delighted with Futureco Bioscience's R & D potential, and hopeful of a common future with many opportunities for growth and expansion. In addition, they enjoyed wonderful days alongside the Mediterranean, that loaded them with optimism to undertake the good to do with the tandem Futureco Bioscience - SumiAgro.
